By August 28, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 7 nights out of Barcelona, visiting Villefranche-sur-Mer, Portofino, La Spezia, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Naples, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Warm plazas, gelato by the harbour, and old things everywhere you look. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Celebrity Xcel joined the Celebrity Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. An August departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
