Some of the best trips are the ones you barely had to plan. 4 nights from Istanbul on November 13, 2026, visiting Corfu, Bari and Trieste, and you're home before the laundry piles up. You wind up in Trieste, so it's worth planning a night or two there. You're in port almost every day, so pack shoes you can actually walk in. A lot of Western civilisation started around here, and the views haven't changed much since. Trieste stands out. It's Habsburg grandeur at Italy's eastern edge. 8 hours ashore per call. Enough for the highlights, not enough for a nap. You won't go hungry on MSC Fantasia. 2 restaurants come with the fare, plus 3 more when you feel like treating yourself. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All in all, it's a solid trip.
