South Pacific Grandeur – Auckland to Sydney
About this cruise
You won't run out of things to do on a trip this long, but you also won't feel like you have to do any of them. 13 nights from Auckland on October 18, 2026, visiting Tauranga, Napier and Picton, with additional stops along the Australia & New Zealand. You finish in Sydney. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. The distances are huge, which makes the sea days feel earned, and the ports feel worth it. Most ports give you about 11 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Celebrity Solstice. 5 restaurants come with the fare, plus 5 more when you feel like treating yourself. 13 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
