Southern Latitude Drift – Melbourne & Adelaide
About this cruise
Block out 11 nights from March 2, 2028 and let this sailing from Sydney do its thing. The route covers Eden, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany, Busselton and Fremantle and there's plenty of room to breathe between each stop. You get off in Fremantle, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Every port day is followed by a sea day, so you get time to sleep in, use the ship, and look forward to the next stop. Flat whites in Melbourne, coral at the Great Barrier Reef, and fjords in New Zealand. Hard to pick a highlight. Don't rush through Adelaide, which is known as South Australia's festival city of wine and art. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Grand Princess has 10 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Sydney itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All told, 6 ports across 11 nights covers a lot.
