Southern Latitude Run – Hobart, Fiordland & Auckland
About this cruise
A 13-night sailing gives you something shorter trips can't: the feeling that you're not just visiting places but actually living somewhere else for a while. This one leaves Sydney on February 13, 2028 and visits Eden, Port Arthur and Hobart, with additional stops along the Australia & New Zealand. You wind up in Auckland, so it's worth planning a night or two there. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Sydney Opera House one day, Milford Sound's fjords another. The Antipodes reward the long flight. Fiordland National Park stands out. It's New Zealand's pristine wilderness of sound and silence. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. You won't go hungry on Royal Princess. 6 restaurants come with the fare, plus 5 more when you feel like treating yourself. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. A February sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. All in all, it's a solid trip.
