Southern Ledge Crossing – Adelaide, Albany & Busselton
About this cruise
Clear the calendar from October 20, 2027. This one's 11 nights from Sydney, and the route visits Eden, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany, Busselton and Fremantle. By the time you're a week in, you'll have completely stopped checking your phone. You wind up in Fremantle, so it's worth planning a night or two there. Port days and sea days take turns, which is about as well-paced as a cruise itinerary gets. Big cities, reef snorkelling, and New Zealand's green mountains. Genuinely varied. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, You won't go hungry on Grand Princess. 6 restaurants come with the fare, plus 4 more when you feel like treating yourself. Longer sailings have a different energy. People relax into it, stop rushing, and start actually talking to each other. An October sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
