Sun-Bleached Stone – Mallorca, Sicily & Rome
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 8-night round-trip sailing from Barcelona on November 22, 2026 visits Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Palermo, Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa and Marseille. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 3 borders through the Western Mediterranean: Spain, Italy and France. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Genoa alone is worth the trip, Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Costa Toscana carries up to 5,322 guests over 20 decks. Multiple pools, a theatre, and more restaurants than you'll get through. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Worth booking. That's the short version.
