Sun-Drenched Balearic Dash – Barcelona, Ibiza & Palermo
About this cruise
If you don't need a long holiday but still want to get out on the water, this is a solid pick. 4 nights from Marseille on August 30, 2026, visiting Barcelona, Ibiza and Palermo. Disembarkation is in Palermo. Hardly any sea days here. It's basically port-hopping the whole way. French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, and everywhere in between. Probably the most popular Med route for a reason. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Palermo, Arab-Norman splendour in Sicily's capital. Around 8 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. At 185,010 gross tons, Costa Smeralda is big enough that you can find a quiet corner or a crowd, depending on your mood. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
