Sunken Anchor & Reefs – Grand Turk, Amber Cove & Costa Maya
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from Port Canaveral on April 15, 2028 visits Ocean Cay, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Nassau, Grand Turk Island and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove). The pace alternates neatly: port day, sea day, port day, sea day. 6 stops with a breather between each one. 4 countries (Bahamas, Mexico, Turks & Caicos Islands and Dominican Republic) across the Caribbean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC World Atlantic (2027) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. You start in Port Canaveral and come back with stories from Bahamas, Mexico, Turks & Caicos Islands and Dominican Republic.
