Sunset Serenade – Belize & Cozumel
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Fort Lauderdale on March 5, 2028 visits Belize City, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman Island. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Belize, Mexico and Cayman Islands. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Costa Maya, Mexico's quieter Caribbean escape among Mayan ruins. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Celebrity Xcel joined the Celebrity Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. Fort Lauderdale itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
