Tango & Tropics – Buenos Aires & Rio
About this cruise
This one leaves Montevideo on February 25, 2026 and spends 8 nights visiting Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Ilhabela and Balneario Camboriu at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Tango, rainforest, Patagonian ice. South America covers a lot of ground. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC Fantasia has 5 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. The timing adds to it: swapping cold weather for sunshine and sea air is the whole pitch for a winter cruise. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
