Thundering Ice – Hubbard Glacier & Skagway
About this cruise
By August 18, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 7 nights out of Whittier, visiting Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Vancouver, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. You wind up in Vancouver, so it's worth planning a night or two there. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, There are 11 restaurants on Coral Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. An August departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.

Getting there: out to Whittier, home from Vancouver
This cruise does not return to Whittier. It ends in Vancouver, so your flight home leaves from there.
