Tides of Sapphire – Caribbean’s Veins
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 12 nights from Fort Lauderdale on February 7, 2027, visiting Half Moon Cay, Oranjestad and Cartagena, with additional stops along the Caribbean. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 7 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 6 borders through the Caribbean: Bahamas, Netherlands, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Cayman Islands. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Keep an eye out for Puerto Limon: Costa Rica's Caribbean gateway to the jungle. Roughly 7 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Nieuw Amsterdam takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. That's 12 nights well spent.
