If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 10 nights from Civitavecchia (Rome) on June 25, 2027, visiting Messina, Katakolon and Corfu, with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Eastern Mediterranean tour: 4 countries, from Italy to Montenegro. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Ascent (2023) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full.
