A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 8-night sailing from Miami on January 30, 2027 visits Oranjestad, Willemstad and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove). The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Port to port, the water changes colour and the music changes too. That's the fun of it. Oranjestad alone is worth the trip, Aruba's cheerful Dutch-Caribbean capital. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 14 restaurants on Carnival Horizon, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 8 nights. Miami itself is worth spending some time in.
