Tropical Escape – Puerto Plata & Bahamas
About this cruise
There's a reason 6-night cruises are the most popular length. This one sails from Port Canaveral on August 1, 2027 and visits Celebration Key, Half Moon Cay and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove). Port days and sea days take turns, which is about as well-paced as a cruise itinerary gets. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. You get around 8 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Carnival Festivale (2027) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. An August departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
