By January 3, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 6 nights out of Port Canaveral, visiting Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. Port days and sea days take turns, which is about as well-paced as a cruise itinerary gets. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, There are 14 restaurants on Carnival Vista, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 6 nights. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
