You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 20 nights from Fort Lauderdale on April 3, 2027, visiting Cartagena, Panama Canal and Puntarenas, with additional stops along the Caribbean. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Crossing 7 borders through the Caribbean: Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, United States and Canada. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Don't rush through Puerto Quetzal, which is known as Guatemala's Pacific gateway to Mayan wonders. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Eurodam takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All told, 9 ports across 20 nights covers a lot.
