Western Caribbean Escape – Cozumel & Roatan
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Galveston on January 16, 2027 visits Cozumel, Roatan Island, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The Caribbean route takes in Mexico, Honduras and Belize, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Of the stops, Roatan Island tends to be the one people talk about: Honduras' reef-fringed island hideaway. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Viva (2023) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Galveston before boarding. It's a good city to wander. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
