Whale's Tail – Tracy Arm & Skagway
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Seattle on July 13, 2027 visits Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Tracy Arm Fjord alone is worth the trip, A glacier-carved corridor of ice and mist. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Carnival Legend takes the food seriously, with 8 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. Worth booking. That's the short version.
