Great Stirrup Cay

Great Stirrup Cay is Norwegian Cruise Line's private island in the Berry Islands of the Bahamas. The ship anchors offshore and tenders bring you to a 250-acre island with white sand beaches and clear shallow water. There's a mix of free beach areas and paid upgrades, including a villa section with cabanas. Most of the day here is about the beach. You can rent snorkel gear, kayaks, or a spot on a parasailing boat. There's a food tent with buffet-style lunch included and a couple of bars along the sand. It's not a cultural stop; it's a beach day. If you want quiet, walk past the main area to the less crowded stretches. The water is calm and shallow enough to wade out a good distance.
