If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Santa Cruz de Tenerife on January 22, 2027, visiting Arrecife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz de la Palma and Funchal. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Warm weather in any month, with volcanoes as the backdrop. Not bad. Most ports give you about 13 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Mein Schiff Relax (2025) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. The timing adds to it: swapping cold weather for sunshine and sea air is the whole pitch for a winter cruise. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
