Alaska Untamed – Ketchikan & Glaciers
About this cruise
7 nights, 6 ports, all from Vancouver on June 25, 2027. The route visits Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seward and the whole thing just flows. Last stop: Seward. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. You get around 8 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Anthem of the Seas takes the food seriously, with 15 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Vancouver has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A June departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
