Amphora & Terracotta – Athens, Rome & Valencia
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Bari on October 24, 2026 visits Piraeus (Athens), Katakolon, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Valencia. Disembarkation is in Valencia. Every port day is followed by a sea day, so you get time to sleep in, use the ship, and look forward to the next stop. The Eastern Mediterranean route takes in Greece, Italy and Spain, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Civitavecchia (Rome), The Eternal City is just an hour away. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Sinfonia keeps you well fed. 4 places to eat, with 4 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. If you can, add a night in Bari before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
