Ancient Levant Thread – Dubrovnik, Santorini & Istanbul
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 10-night sailing from Ravenna on August 28, 2026 visits Dubrovnik, Bar and Piraeus (Athens), with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean. Disembarkation is in Istanbul. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 8 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. It's a proper Eastern Mediterranean tour: 4 countries, from Croatia to Türkiye. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Piraeus (Athens), The Acropolis beckons from the harbour. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Norwegian Viva launched in 2023, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
