Renaissance Drift – Villefranche, Split & Ravenna
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 9-night sailing from Barcelona on August 19, 2026 visits Villefranche-sur-Mer, Livorno (Florence/Pisa) and Civitavecchia (Rome), with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. You get off in Ravenna, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. 9 consecutive port days with no time at sea. It's an explore-everything kind of trip. 5 countries (France, Italy, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Don't rush through Civitavecchia (Rome), which is known as The Eternal City is just an hour away. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. All told, 9 ports across 9 nights covers a lot.
