Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Mexico, Belize and Honduras. Don't rush through Roatan Island, which is known as Honduras' reef-fringed island hideaway. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 14 restaurants on Norwegian Dawn, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Tampa itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer.
