By July 3, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 7 nights out of Barcelona, visiting Villefranche-sur-Mer, Portofino, La Spezia, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Naples, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Hot coastline, hilltop villages, and very good food. That's the Western Med in a sentence. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Celebrity Xcel joined the Celebrity Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. A July departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. You start in Barcelona and come back with stories from France and Italy.
