Some of the best trips are the ones you barely had to plan. 5 nights from Fort Lauderdale on November 25, 2026, visiting Grand Turk Island and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), and you're home before the laundry piles up. The sea days at each end give the whole trip a natural arc: build-up, exploration, cool-down. Snorkelling, palm trees, rum. Each stop does it a bit differently. Keep an eye out for Grand Turk Island: Where the shelf drops into the deep blue. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Island Princess takes the food seriously, with 6 restaurants to choose from. 3 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Works well as a long weekend away, or a quick reset between bigger trips. And November is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. That's 5 nights well spent.
