Cultural Crossroads – Athens, Istanbul & Corfu
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 9-night sailing from Trieste on September 6, 2026 visits Katakolon, Piraeus (Athens), Kusadasi, Istanbul, Corfu and Bari. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. It's a proper Eastern Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from Greece to Italy. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Katakolon, Gateway to ancient Olympia. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Fantasia has 5 dining spots on board, most of them included. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
