Glacier & Totem Pathway – Juneau, Skagway & Sitka
About this cruise
This one leaves Seattle on September 11, 2027 and spends 10 nights visiting Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, with additional stops along the Alaska at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The ports come early and the voyage wraps with sea days. A good way to decompress before heading home. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Royal Princess has 11 dining spots on board, most of them included. 10 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. 10 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
