You get off in Boston, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 9 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Manhattan skyline to maritime Canada. City energy at one end, quiet fishing towns at the other. Don't rush through St. John's, which is known as Antigua's harbour of three hundred sixty-five beaches. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Volendam has 6 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Montreal itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point.
