Iceborn Odyssey – Skagway & Juneau
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 14-night sailing leaves Vancouver on September 5, 2027 and visits Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Whittier and Hubbard Glacier. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Glacier Bay alone is worth the trip, Where ice sculpts the silence. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Nieuw Amsterdam takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Worth booking. That's the short version.
