Northern Lights Call – Skagway & Juneau
About this cruise
14 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Vancouver on August 22, 2027 and the route takes you through Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Whittier and Hubbard Glacier at a pace where there's never any need to rush. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Glacier Bay alone is worth the trip, Where ice sculpts the silence. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Nieuw Amsterdam has 9 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. The longer time on board means you'll catch several shows, themed nights, and start feeling like a regular at your favourite bar. Vancouver itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. Worth booking. That's the short version.
