Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Diamond Princess takes the food seriously, with 12 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Worth booking. That's the short version.
