It's the kind of trip that's easy to say yes to. 5 nights from Port Canaveral on August 23, 2027, visiting Celebration Key, Nassau and Half Moon Cay. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 8 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 16 restaurants on Carnival Mardi Gras, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 5 nights. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
