Mediterranean Gems – Barcelona, Marseille & Rome
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Barcelona on December 13, 2026 visits Marseille, Genoa, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome) and Valencia. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from France to Spain. Of the stops, Genoa tends to be the one people talk about: Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Around 12 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Sinfonia has 4 dining spots on board, most of them included. A December sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
