Mediterranean Grand Tour – Rome, Genoa & Tangier
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 10-night sailing from Alicante on April 25, 2027 visits Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa and Marseille, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 7 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The route threads through 5 countries along the Western Mediterranean coast: Italy, France, Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Don't rush through Tangier, which is known as Where Africa and Europe lock eyes across the strait. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Sinfonia has 4 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. Alicante itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All told, 7 ports across 10 nights covers a lot.
