Mediterranean Grandeur – Rome, Athens & Barcelona
About this cruise
By September 1, 2027 you'll be ready for this. 10 nights out of Civitavecchia (Rome), visiting Salerno, Katakolon and Piraeus (Athens), with additional stops along the Eastern Mediterranean, and nothing on the agenda except showing up. You finish in Barcelona. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. It's a proper Eastern Mediterranean tour: 5 countries, from Italy to Spain. You get around 10 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Carnival Sunshine has 15 dining spots on board, most of them included. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. A September sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
