Mediterranean to Florida – Barcelona & Gibraltar
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 13 nights from Barcelona on October 17, 2026, visiting Alicante, Málaga, Gibraltar, Celebration Key and Port Canaveral. You get off in Port Canaveral, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 4 countries, from Spain to United States. Don't rush through Málaga, which is known as Picasso's birthplace on the Costa del Sol. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Carnival Freedom has 9 dining spots on board, most of them included. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All told, 5 ports across 13 nights covers a lot.
