Monsoon Current – Darwin, Bali & Penang
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 15 nights from Brisbane on April 16, 2028, visiting Airlie Beach, Darwin, Benoa, Pulau Penang Island and Singapore. Last stop: Singapore. The sea days at each end give the whole trip a natural arc: build-up, exploration, cool-down. The Southeast Asia route takes in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, 4 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Of the stops, Singapore tends to be the one people talk about: A garden city where cultures converge. Roughly 12 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Grand Princess keeps you well fed. 10 places to eat, with 6 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in Brisbane before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.

Getting there: out to Brisbane, home from Singapore
