Neon Monsoon – Kaohsiung, Da Nang & Saigon
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 14 nights from Tokyo on September 14, 2027, visiting Kochi, Naha and Kaohsiung, with additional stops along the Southeast Asia. Last stop: Singapore. Every port day is followed by a sea day, so you get time to sleep in, use the ship, and look forward to the next stop. 5 countries (Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore) across the Southeast Asia, each with its own character. Of the stops, Kaohsiung tends to be the one people talk about: Taiwan's harbour of night markets and dragon temples. Roughly 12 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. You won't go hungry on Sapphire Princess. 7 restaurants come with the fare, plus 7 more when you feel like treating yourself. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
