Nordic Capitals – Gothenburg, Tallinn & Copenhagen
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 12 nights from Southampton on September 26, 2027, visiting Gothenburg, Nynashamn, Tallinn, Helsinki, Copenhagen and IJmuiden (Amsterdam). Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 5 borders through the Baltic: Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Denmark and Netherlands. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. People come back from this cruise talking about Helsinki: Nordic design in a city of islands. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Norwegian Star takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 4 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. 6 ports, 5 countries, one suitcase. That's the appeal.
