Northern Lights Escape – Hubbard & Juneau
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Seward on June 4, 2027 visits Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and Vancouver. You get off in Vancouver, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. You do all the exploring first, then the last few days are at sea. It's like a built-in wind-down. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. Don't rush through Icy Strait Point, which is known as Wilderness at the edge of the Inside Passage. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Anthem of the Seas has 15 dining spots on board, most of them included. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
