You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 17 nights from San Diego on January 9, 2027, visiting Honolulu, Kahului, Nawiliwili, Hilo, Kailua-Kona and Ensenada. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Lei greetings, luau evenings, and ocean that somehow never stops being blue. Nawiliwili stands out. It's Kauai's emerald cliffs meet the harbour. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Koningsdam keeps you well fed. 12 places to eat, with 6 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in San Diego before boarding. It's a good city to wander. All in all, it's a solid trip.
