South Pacific Crossing – Honolulu to Sydney
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 18-night sailing from Honolulu on September 28, 2027 visits Moorea Island, Papeete and Raiatea Island, with additional stops along the Australia & New Zealand. Disembarkation is in Sydney. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. Crossing 3 borders through the Australia & New Zealand: French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Most ports give you about 12 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Solstice takes the food seriously, with 10 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. A proper voyage for people who like to take their time and hate rushing through destinations. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Honolulu has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. You start in Honolulu and come back with stories from French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia.
