7 nights, 4 ports, all from Ravenna on June 27, 2026. The route visits Dubrovnik, Piraeus (Athens), Santorini and Split and the whole thing just flows. Port days and sea days take turns, which is about as well-paced as a cruise itinerary gets. Whitewashed Cycladic villages one day, busy bazaars the next. Very different moods, same cruise. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Explorer Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 8 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Ravenna has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A June departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
