This one leaves Norfolk on July 24, 2027 and spends 8 nights visiting Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk Island and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands and Dominican Republic. Most ports give you about 8 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 9 restaurants on Carnival Freedom, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 8 nights. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
