This one leaves Norfolk on April 1, 2028 and spends 8 nights visiting Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk Island and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. 3 countries (Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands and Dominican Republic) across the Caribbean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 8 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Carnival Freedom. 6 restaurants come with the fare, plus 3 more when you feel like treating yourself. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
