Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 9-night sailing from Vancouver on September 20, 2026 visits Hilo, Kailua-Kona and Honolulu. Last stop: Honolulu. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Lei greetings, luau evenings, and ocean that somehow never stops being blue. Of the stops, Kailua-Kona tends to be the one people talk about: Coffee country on a volcanic coast. Roughly 15 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 10 restaurants on Celebrity Solstice, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 9 nights. Vancouver itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too.
